Red Production Company was set up in January 1998 to work with writers on modern, innovative and entertaining dramas. Red first went into production in Spring 1998 on Russell T Davies' 8 part serial, Queer As Folk, for Channel 4. Transmitted in January 1999 it was followed immediately by Love In The 21st Century, devised by Catherine Johnson, 6 stories about sex, love and relationships. Other productions include Clocking Off, Now You See Her, Linda Green, Bob & Rose, Sparkhouse, Having It Off, Flesh and Blood, The Second Coming, Burn It, Indian Dream, Mine All Mine, Big Dippers, Dead Man Weds, Conviction, Casanova, Legless, New Street Law Series 1 and 2, Jane Hall, Magnolia, The Good Housekeeping Guide and The Mark of Cain.
