Red radio drama, RIP Boy, written by Neil McKay for BBC Radio 4, has won Bronze in the Best Drama category at the prestigious Sony Radio Academy Awards.
Ten years ago Zahid Mubarek was murdered by Robert Stewart at Feltham Young Offenders Institution. Based on interviews, transcripts and reports, RIP Boy looks back at Stewart's early career in crime and asks, how did a known racist with a long history of violence come to be sharing a cell with a young Asian boy?
Neil McKay is the BAFTA award winning writer of Mo, See No Evil, Appropriate Adult and The Suspicions of Mr Whicher.
RIP Boy was a Red production for BBC Radio 4, and will be repeated at 9pm on Friday 27th May.
