Happy Valley continued its run of awards success last night at the BAFTA Television Awards, where it won the Drama Series category.
Sarah Lancashire also won the Leading Actress award for her performance as police sergeant Catherine Cawood. Sarah was initially speechless when presented her award by James Nesbitt, but quickly recovered and thanked writer and creator Sally Wainwright as well as members of BAFTA, the BBC and Red Production Company.
The BAFTA Television Awards ceremony, hosted by Sue Perkins, was held last night in London. Congratulations to Sarah and to the cast and crew of Happy Valley!
