RED Production Company is excited to announce a stellar cast for Ordinary Lies, a new drama series created and written by Danny Brocklehurst.
Set on the shop floor and in the offices of a motor showroom, the series will star Max Beesley (Mad Dogs), Michelle Keegan (Coronation Street), Jason Manford (Little Crackers), Mackenzie Crook (Pirates of the Caribbean), Jo Joyner (EastEnders), Rebecca Callard (Glue), Sally Lindsay (Mount Pleasant), Belinda Stewart-Wright (The Inbetweeners), Shazad Latif (Spooks), Shaun Dooley (Misfits) and Fisayo Akinade (Cucumber). Following an ordinary group of colleagues and friends, this thrilling and darkly humorous drama will explore how a simple lie can spiral out of control and change a life forever.

The series is written by Danny Brocklehurst, produced by Tom Sherry (Scott & Bailey) and directed by John McKay (Life On Mars) and Juliet May (Call The Midwife). Executive producers are Nicola Shindler for RED Production Company and Polly Hill for BBC. Ordinary Lies was commissioned for BBC One by Charlotte Moore and Ben Stephenson.
Ordinary Lies will be broadcast in 2015.
